Schweppes is a premium range of beverages, developed in England in 1783 by Jacob Schweppe, an amateur scientist who discovered a method of producing carbonated water on a commercial scale. Its first factory took place in London in 1792, producing Schweppes Soda. Made with carbonated water, sodium bicarbonate and sodium chloride.
