Hirudoid is a gel that helps in the treatment and reduction of symptoms of various localized inflammatory processes.
Because it contains a preparation with mucopolysaccharidase enzymes, alpha-amylases, and alpha-chymotrypsin in its formula, it is indicated for treating hematomas after trauma, bruises, or surgeries, as well as preventing inflammation of superficial veins (phlebitis or thrombophlebitis) after injections or blood tests.
It also helps in the care of varicose veins in the thighs and legs - as long as there are no open wounds - in the treatment of inflammation of lymphatic vessels or lymph nodes, in cases of boils and mastitis (breast inflammation).
