Description

Coristina D is a drug combination that combines the analgesic and antipyretic action of acetylsalicylic acid. With the antiallergic action of dexchlorpheniramine maleate, effective in coryza and sneezing, with phenylephrine hydrochloride, effective in relieving nasal obstruction and the invigorating action of caffeine. The inclusion of caffeine is intended to compensate for the drowsiness that may occur with the antihistamine component. The estimated time for Coristina D to start acting is approximately 30 minutes.

What it is for: Coristina D is indicated in the treatment of symptoms of the common cold and flu (headache, body pain, fever, runny nose, sneezing and nasal obstruction).

Directions for use: Adults and children over 12 years: one tablet every four hours, not exceeding 4 tablets in a 24-hour period. Coristin D is a symptomatic treatment and should only be used while symptoms of the common cold or flu last.
